Discover – and remember – wines that you love

by Bruce Kasanoff on June 15, 2009

The Spanish Grans Muralles 2000 is a “deep inky opaque purple with an intense aromatic bouquet, showing raw meat, black pepper, charcoal, eucalytus and freshly turned soil.” I have no idea what this means, but five people found Gabriella Opaz’s review helpful.

Adegga is a social discovery site for wine lovers. In English, this means other people help you discover wines that you like, and vice versa. The site also intends to help you “organize your wines. You can keep track of wines you taste, make a wish list or organize your home cellar.”

André Cid, André Ribeirinho, and Emídio Santos are co-founders of the site. Here’s their blog.

Also, if you have an iPhone, check out Drync, the highest rated wine app at MacWorld.

A quick guide to interactive YouTube videos

June 12, 2009

Our editorial standards are very high. For example, we never steal an entire article from The New York Times unless it is very late in the day. (Attention NYT lawyers: we’re joking.) So we seldom refer you to another site that tells you about another site. But today, let’s make an exception.
Here’s a great article [...]
